Below is the application form for NBC RFC for 2009-2010.
You will see that we have kept membership fees at the same rate as last year, and remembering many players now have kit we have converted the actual 'free kit' into a voucher for £25 to spend on training kit etc. in our new merchandise outlet at Lady Bay (open Sunday Mornings during the season).
Discounts apply for membership completed before the end of June 2009. For Mini / Junior players, the first parents Social Membership is free, and for senior (adult) players rates are also reduced by £10 if paid before the end of June 2009.
In light of many questions, a brief overview of where the money actually goes to is detailed. Suffice to say, the club remains solvent (just) after a prudent first year in existence; but we need to remain cautious with money.

DETAILS OF SPEND:
Of your £90, the following expenditure occurs per each player: (averages & approx. costs)
- Rugby Equipment (Balls, cones, tackle bags) £ 5.00
- Food for match days (Average) £ 5.00
- RFU insurance & other insurance £10.00
- Costs of playing at Lady Bay £10.00
(This covers pitch maintenance, seeding, marking, ground staff, electricity / heating /
cleaning of Clubhouse, showers etc)
- Kitebate £25.00
- NLD costs and competition entry, referees costs £10.00
- Other cost (kit, NSSC, club liability insurance) £15.00
- Social membership £10.00
TOTAL £90.00
NOTES:
For Under 18s only: Included in your membership is season ticket entry to Nottingham Rugby Club league matches at Meadow Lane.
Reduced Adults rates at Meadow Lane matches are also being negotiated (tbc).

Players are not eligible to play matches until both Club and RFU registration has been completed. The RFU registration and insurance fee is included in the Club annual membership subscription.
RFU registration comprises of:
- Completion of the relevant form, signed by Club, player and parent if the player is under 18;
- Submission of two passport size photos, both in hard copy and electronic format.
All new players to the Club must complete RFU registration at the time of joining the Club.
Previously registered players with Nottingham Boots Corsairs RFC must re-register with the RFU at the following age groups:

U 16 1st September 1993 – 31st August 1994 11

Joining Nottingham Boots Corsairs RFC from another club?
If transferring from another Club then as well as the Club and RFU registration process detailed above a club transfer form will also need to be completed.
The transfer form needs signing by the former Club as well as Nottingham Boots Corsairs RFC.
This applies to all Colts, Juniors and Mini players.
Hire your Club House!!!
Lady Bay Club house is available for hire, reasonable rates available for club members... parties, birthdays, corporate entertaining.

Club Section Ages Rates
Senior Players 18 plus £ 90
(men's & women's)
Full time students, UB40s etc will play £50 on production of relevant ID
Colt & Junior Players Below 18 £ 80
(as at 1st September 2009)
Mini Rugby U 6 to U 12 £ 80
(as at 1st September 2009)
£ 25 voucher for kit at Club Shop
Rugby equipment as required for each age group
Social Membership Open to all at £ 10 Voting rights at AGMs;
One nominated parent of each under 18 family must take Social Membership £10 each. Making the total membership for an U18 player £90.
For the season £80 membership works out at about £3 per week
Social Membership is included in adult subscription charges.
Subsequent children are £40 each.
I hereby apply for membership of Nottingham Boots Corsairs Rugby Football Club for the season commencing September 2009, and agree to abide by all its rules and bylaws. I understand that the committee may withdraw membership in cases of extreme/special circumstances, without consideration and without monetary refund.
I note this volunteer club relies upon voluntary help and I will do my best to contribute.
