Nottingham Corsairs Ladies are an ambitious and friendly team combining competitiveness and a spirit of fun both on and off the pitch.
During a very successful 2011/12 Season the Nottingham ladies played some fantastic matches (see match reports), had some great socials and rounded the Season off with a tour down to Brighton, leaving a lot to laugh at and many memories of the season, for photos see our Facebook web page. The one disappointment from the season was seeing the squad narrowly miss out on the chance of promotion, coming 2nd in their league. However, so many lessons were learnt throughout the season and this disappointment has only brought the team closer together to chase after that much deserved promotion place in the next season.
With the season now over 'some' of the squad are enjoying a well earned break...while the rest are gluttons for punishment and taking part in the Nottingham Outlaws League Season. However, it won't be long until we ramp up the Union pre-season training again ready for what promises to be a very exciting 2012/13.
We welcome new players of any ability, whether you want to continue to develop your rugby skills in an established high placed team, improve your fitness or try out a new sport, then NBC Ladies RFC is for you!
We also have some of the most enthusiastic dedicated supporters of the league, so if playing isn't your thing, but you want to come and support us or join us on a social then come along :o)

NBC LADIES TAKE OVER BRIGHTON
 | Tour this year saw the NBC Ladies heading down to Brighton. I am not sure Brighton knew what had hit them when the team dressing up in their best Easter bonnets, Gnomes outfits and bin bags. A lot of merryment and games meant that it was a weekend to remember. Check out out facebook page for photos. Massive thanks to JB for organising such an amazing weekend. |
 | NBC Lions decided to celebrate christmas early this year and combine it with their last fixture of the Year. A very well fought game...see match report...led to a victory for the NBC Lions, a great way to start any social. The Away team, Lichfield, showed what true sportswomen they were and putting the defeat behind them, joined the NBC Lions in getting changed into all manner of festive fancy dress, for a few drinks and then into town to dance the night away. A perfect warm up night before the official Christmas party next week. |
 | NBC Lions welcomed on board the new club members who joined them this season during the first social a 'Cops and Robbers' Evening, which took place on Fri 23 Sep. With several newbies to the squad, there were many new faces to introduce to the team and the very big social side of the club. |
