Nottingham vs Merseyside

It was our first game played up at the beautiful Mellish rugby club and the Scorpions did it in style.

The boys in the middle were getting clearance after clearance and the delivery to the Forwards was all class. The Backline held strong for the entire match and made it very tough for the Saints to get the ball through the big sticks and Forwards had a great day at the office thanks to all the hard work done up the field.

The DotD goes to yours truly for wanting total silence as I was lining up for goal and then missing the lot!
All in all, it was a great team effort. Everyone played their part and the team was running the ball quickly, smoothly and there was plenty of options for the ball carrier.

The Players Player goes to Martin Kearney who was putting in all the hard work in the forward line and finishing with 11 Goals! Special mentions go to Ian, Xander, Robin, Ashley who all had a blinder of a game.
