September 2018 Issue 1 Newsletter

2 months ago By Sean Krauth

Here we go again.

All set for another season of rugby at Weddington. Despite the recent heatwave players have been training hard, work on the pitch has left it looking great, fresh paint in the changing rooms has brightened them up. Altogether there is an air of excitement and genuine anticipation not felt for a while.
In this newsletter plenty of contributions from a number of people show how busy and successful the summer months have been and everyone who has been involved in making them so deserves a lot of credit.
In the end, of course , it comes down to this great game we are proud to be a part of and there was a big show of support for the first practice match of the campaign, Bedworth, who have had well documented troubles, were the opposition in a game that showed the potential of both sides. Our boys were comfortable winners in the end and showed some slick moves leading to some fine tries.
Everyone is welcome at our home games to watch and enjoy a great atmosphere in the clubhouse after the final whistle.
We aim to bring you a series of newsletters throughout the season to keep everyone on message.
Here we go again.
