New Year fixtures

Odsal Sedbergh face a tough start to 2012, with the first team battling to get away from the relegation spots.

Odsal currently sit third bottom with Illingworth and West Bowling ‘A’ the two teams sitting below them.

Odsal’s second team face a battle to raise a team in their start to 2012.

Odsal’s first team face Kippax at home on the 7th of January. The last time the two sides met Odsal's depleted squad lost 30-18.

The next week Odsal face Illingworth away, in a reverse of the first game of Odsal's season.

Odsal will be hoping for a similar result to that fixture. The previous game ended in Odsal winning 48-6.

The third week of the New Year see's Odsal face a tough game in the cup.

Following on from their win at Woodhouse Warriors in the previous round, Odsal face local rivals Brighouse at the Odsal Rec.

The two sides have met once this season at Brighouse, with the home side taking the victory by 30-6.

Odsal ‘A’ start their 2012 campaign with a Bradford cup game.

Odsal’s second team face division two side West Bowling ‘A’ in one of the toughest draws of the cup.

West Bowling’s second string are placed in the second team cup due to their first team, who joined the Premier division this season.

Odsal’s second string are yet to receive any further league fixtures.
