Former Sedbergh try machine Andy Gabriel has been promotoed, alongside two of his Under 20s team mates, to the Keighley Cougars first team for the upcoming 2015 season. Gabes will wear the no. 25 jersey.

The Cougars will be plying their trade in the third tier once again, following a contraversial relegation last time out and Gabes will have the chance to pit his wits against the other "local lad" debuting in the Kingstone Press League 1 this year, former Dudley Hill playmaker Nathan Kitson, who signed for Oxford in December.

It goes without saying we are all praying Keighley draw the Bulls in the Northern Rail Cup, now that would be something everyone at Sedge would be flocking to see.
