Date confirmed for Senior Cup tie.

Bootle FC's first round clash against Marine, in the Liverpool Senior Cup, will take on Tuesday 22nd of November.

Last time these two sides met in this competition the Bucks ran out winners, thanks in particular to Sean Coulton.

Despite falling behind to a first half Karl Clair strike, the Bucks night got even worse when Dean Porter was sent off after bringing down former Bucks man Andy Fowler.

And with the Bucks having used all three substitutes manager Joe Doran was forced to put centre back Coulton between the sticks. But the Bucks equalised through Kieran Brislen's strike - before the tie headed to penalties.

After both sides scored their first five penalties, the shoot-out headed to sudden death and when Coulton superbly saved Danny Feanehough's spot kick - Steve Williams stepped up to send Matt Cooper the wrong way and book the Bucks a place in the Quarter-finals.

The game at the Delta Taxis Stadium will kick off at 7.45pm.
