2016/17 Fixtures now available!

With 2016/17 fixtures now available, we're happy to announce the 1st XV have rejoined the RFU league structure and will play in South Lancs/Cheshire 3

After a successful season in NOWIRUL Division 3 South, only narrowly missing out on the league title, the 1st XV will be looking forward to returning to the the RFU structure, this time in a new environment in South Lancs/Cheshire 3 under the leadership of new skipper Tom Kitching. Kicking off with a trip south to Linley & Kidsgrove on 3 September, other highlights will be battles against familar foes Newton le Willows and Aspull, and a trip to the Isle of Man to play Ramsey IOM.

Having finished in the top 4 for the past two years, the 2nd XV will again feature in NOWIRUL Division 4 South, and will be confident of another strong season. Captain James Hennigan will be looking for a strong start at home against Linley & Kidsgrove 2 on 3 September, before the lads come up against some well known faces with the likes of Bowdon 3, Oswestry 2, Trafford MV 3 and Macclesfield 4, as well as return by Moore 2.

The 3rd XV will also see the return of many of last season's opponents to Millgate Lane as they again compete in NOWIRUL Division 5 South. Having started last season strongly, the 3s, under the new leadership of Chris Storer, will be looking for more of the same thorughout the year, which will start at Millgate Lane on 3 September against Holmes Chapel 2.

Cup fixtures are yet to be released, but watch this space for news! We are also looking at finalising a couple of pre-season friendlies which will be confirmed in the coming days.
