2017/18 senior fixtures now live!

1 month ago By paul makinen

With preparations for the new season well underway, all senior fixtures are now live in the Fixtures and Results section of the website.

After a successful season in South Lancs/Cheshire 3, the 1st XV, led this year by Ali Webley, play in the newly formed South Lancs & Cheshire 3 (North) and will face trips to some familiar places including North Manchester, Eagle and Ashton as well as a trip to see some familiar faces in Ormskirk. Before the league kicks off though, Bury will be the boys in blue's first opponents in the Alan Stone Lancashire Bowl on 26 August.

Following their Division 4 South title win, the 2nd XV will play in Division 3 South. New skipper Jordie Gore will be hoping to get the boys off to a winning start on 2 September when they host Liverpool St Helens 2.

There's a new face at the helm of the 3rd XV too, and Steve Tarling will hope that the trip to Aldwinians, also on 2 September, will be the first of many wins in a successful season.

All fixtures can be viewed on the calendar page, and you can even subscribe to have them delivered straight to your smartphone or calendar.
