Fund Raiser for Liam O'Keefe, St Mary's Old Boys captain badly injured earlier in the season.

Ladies & Gents as many of you will know Liam O'Keefe, St Mary's Captain broke his neck in a game earlier in the season. The Bristol Combination have rallied around to organise various events to raise money and support him on his long road to rehabilitation. Please see note below from Tony Swash Combination Secretary.
Dear Rich,
I am writing to you with a personal favour request to help us make the forthcoming fund-raising Bristol Combination Golf Day for the Liam O'Keefe Appeal a great success. As you know, Liam suffered massively life-changing injuries playing for and skippering St. Mary's OB's 1st XV, and now faces months at Salisbury Rehabilitation Centre, followed by months and years at home furthering his recovery as is best possible. I very much hope that the local rugby community will pull together to help Liam's long journey along.
My favour request is not necessarily asking or expecting you to do anything more than to help David Fear, a well-known former St. Mary's OB's player and club sponsor, who is managing this event, with me assisting him, to contact all golfers in your club in the hopes that they will enter a team of four players as per the attached entry form and poster, and also that you will share with David and / or me the contact details of business owners in your club, so that we can contact them with a view to promoting their business while aiding the fundraising effort, by taking up one of the several inexpensive Golf Day sponsorship opportunities.
Anything that you are able to do and get back to us with team applications, and other contact information will be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, one of us will be in contact with you in the coming days to hopefully further this request.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards,
Tony Swash
Combination Secretary
