It is Yorkshire CCC's captain Andrew Gale's Benefit Year!!
On Tuesday 4th October 7 for 7.30, there will be 'An evening with Gale and Gillespie' at the Old Brodleians Rugby Club, Hipperholme.
Andrew Gale became the youngest captain of Yorkshire in the post-war era in December 2009 and hopes to lead our county to a 3rd consecutive county championship title at Lords this week.
Jason Gillespie is a former Australian international fast bowler with a Test double hundred to his name!! He has been a highly successful coach of Yorkshire for 5 summers. This will be 'Dizzy's' final public appearance before he returns to Australia soon afterwards.
