Despite strong winds and a muddy pitch Brods had plenty to chher about with a fine display,running in ten tries.
After an error strewn start,Brods managed to hold onto passes to open the scoring when good handling in the backs allowed fly half Morris to loop round and sprint clear down the touchline.
The forwards became increasingly dominent in the scrum and loose play with Cillian Neal especially disruptive in the loose.he scored brods second try and a third quickly followed after a pick up a drive by prop Josh Clegg and quick hands by the backs allowing centre Liam Stapley to go over.The backs,given an increasing amount of quality possession by the forwards began to move the ball with confidence,centre Tom Atkinson breaking clear from defence to be halted short.From the resulting ruck No8 Ben Stringer powered over to score.
From the restart brods were back in the Cleckheaton half via a powerfull driving run from second row Henry Wade.Brods regained possession and after a run by Stapley and a drive to the line by Stringer,Neal was on hand to score.Half time 31-0.
The second half was all about Brods forwards who dominated in all phases of play and allowed the backs to prosper with quality possession.A good run from Stapley resulted in a third try for Neal.Two more trys quickly followed both involving strong runs form Wade.The forst went to Stapley and after Cleckheaton dropped the ball under pressure,Morris jinked through to take brods past the 50point mark.
Morris was soon able to celebrate his own hat-trick when the forwards secured scrum ball and Neal stole the ball from a ruck and broke through a number of tackles to score.
Morris was not finished as from the restart he gathered the ball at pace and rounded the defence to sprint away for his 4th try.The resulting kick took his personal tally to 36 point.
