Under 7’s
Welcome to the U7’s team at Old Brodleians RUFC. Please see below important information. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of the training team.
Registration
Please ensure you have returned your registration form along with the appropriate fee and 2 passport sized photos. IMPORTANT – if your child is not registered, they will be unable to play in the matches.
Subs
Subs are £1 per week. If you prefer, you can pay a lump sum of £ 15 to cover subs until Christmas – please see Sarah.
Training
Please ensure you arrive at 10.15am to begin training at 10.30am. This gives us time to give out belts and tags etc.
From 30th September, we will be playing games, starting with some practice games alongside the Under 8’s team. Attached is the U7’s fixture list for this season – please note that this is subject to change. If you know of any dates that your child will not be available, please let us know as soon as possible.
We will play our games and train on the training pitch behind the conifers above the 1st team pitch from 30th September.
Fundraising
There is a band night here at the Brods on 13th October to raise funds for Junior Rugby, it features a local band called Wild Turkey who play all genres of music from the 60’s up to the present date. There will also be a raffle and other surprises!
Tickets are available now (See Sarah) £5 per ticket.
If you are able to donate a raffle prize, please bring it to training before the 7th October.
Under 6’s
Help needed! The Under 6’s have no coach!
If you feel you are able to help out, or know any-one who would be interested in training the U6’s, please let us know as soon as possible. Once the U7’s start playing games, the under 6’s will still be training but it may become a little disjointed when the 7s are playing away.
