Raising funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Steve Prescott Foundation

This Saturday, seven current senior players (including former Brod Ben Hoyle) are taking on a three-day outdoors challenge to raise money for the club’s official charity, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and The Steve Prescott Foundation.

Organised and funded by the lads they plan to hike to the summit of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak, and kayak over 60 miles from Fort William to Inverness following the Caledonian Canal, aka the Great Glen. This coast-to-coast waterway includes some tough stretches of ‘open water’ such as Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and the vast Loch Ness.

The team is made up of Adam Jackson, Ben Hoyle, Gareth Standeven, James Ogden, Kyle Millward, Matthew Hoyle and Ross Millward, and their aim is to raise over £1500 for each of the beneficiary causes.

If you would like to support the lads on their way by making a donation to the chosen charities, please follow the link below and pick one of the guys to sponsor. www.justgiving.com/teams/great-glen
