Liam was having a great start to the season last year and the Brods were on a bit of a roll when he went down with a scream, he is currently recovering from the knee surgery that followed the incident that most spectators on the day assumed would lead to his death. A great leader, he is at the heart of the current senior set up on and off the field and is leading the 2nd team from the touchline while he rehabs.
His off field and on field leadership collided while on tour in Edinburgh – for some unknown reason his co-ordination and vision seemed impaired when the first pass from his 9 went straight through his hands and hit him on the forehead, which resulted in a fairly quick substitution from the tour management only for Leo to head to the opposition side line and convince them to put him on in the centre….5 minutes in to the game and he had been substituted by both teams.
A top bloke, as long as you catch him before 7pm for a beer and an international dating specialist he will be looking after the 2nd XV this Saturday who have their first home premiership game V Yarnbury, KO at 3pm.
