CATERHAM Cougar Lacrosse Club had a successful National Universities Clubs & Colleges tournament with their U12 team winning their event and the U14s coming runners up.
The U14s overcame Cobham 4-0 in their first match, before beating Blackheath to set up the final against Berkhampstead.

The first half of the final was incredibly tight and the Cougars went into half-time drawing 2-2.
Unfortunately despite some great displays the team could not keep up the pace and lost 5-2.
Cougar U14s: Ria Acharya, Lucy Acton, Cathy Andrew, Emma Coleman, Katherine Trantor, Rachel Galvin, Lizzie Hayes, Lauren Hunt-Williams, Laura Johnson, Libby Lewis, Jess Maskatiya, Katie Mercer, Sophie Nye, Meghan O'Connor, Harriet Sweet, Sam Terry, Annabelle Van Dort, Georgie Waterman.
Despite a rough draw which saw the Cougars U12s play their first two matches back-to-back, the won both.
The Cougars went 3-1 down against Cobham IIs in their third match but with great determination the side fought back to draw 4-4, which was good enough for a place in the semi-final.
The Cougars faced the Cobham first team in the final.
They had never previously beaten However, despite having never previously beaten Cobham, they came out 2-1 winners.
Cougars' Emily Thompson finished the tournament as top-scorer.
