21st & 22nd June at Foxbury

Letter from Paul Daniels - Joint Chair OESC

Dear Parent

I am delighted to let you know that Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) will be carrying out free cardiac screenings for 14 to 35 year olds at The Old Elthamians Sports Club (OESC) on Saturday 21st June 2014 and Sunday 22nd June 2014. This free screening is sponsored by the Ben Daniels Memorial Fund in memory of Ben Daniels who played his sport at Old Elthamians CC.

Details of how to book a slot at the screening clinic are contained in the attached letter (below) from CRY which is also open to siblings of players at OE's.

Please read it carefully.

CRY will be bringing their mobile screening clinic and an expert team to Old Elthamians Sports Club, Foxbury Avenue, Chislehurst. This team screens among others many of the premier league clubs, England Cricket, Football and Rugby teams and Olympic athletes.

Please note that screening appointments are on a first come first served basis and must be booked online. Your child must be at least 14 years of age on the date of screening or if booking for yourself you must be not older than 35. If you book a slot please do turn up or you will be denying someone else the opportunity to be screened.

The screening is free but if you want to make a donation to Ben’s Memorial Fund to cover the cost of future screening for other young people you can do so at http://www.justgiving.com/bendaniels

Kind regards

Paul
