OE Nick Tomkins stars as England win U20 Rugby World Cup

30 metre break sets up game changing try

Nick played Outside Centre in Englands 21-20 win over South Africa on Friday, as England retained the U20 Rugby World Cup in Eden Park, New Zealand, thus becoming one of very few Englishmen to ever win there.

His 30 metre break towards the end of the first half set up the game changing try, giving England a lead they never lost (see on this link 1.50 in click here)

Nick grew up in Chislehurst and was educated at St Nicholas Primary School and Bishop Justus and was with Old Elthamians from the age of four in 1999 until 2012 & now plays for Saracens.

Another to pass through Alan Farmer’s Under 7’s academy his age group coaches were Russell Taylor (now coaching U7’s) Chris Cunliffe (resting!) and Tony Smith (Coaching next seasons U17’s)
