We have already had to submit provisional plans to get this far but this is were we need the club to come together so we can deliver this properly, cost effectively and in the best interest of the club.

To get this started I cordially invite anyone and everyone to a meeting at the club on Wednesday 30th July @ 7pm. We will go over or plans, discuss the details of the bid and look to get a whole club approach moving forward. Dave Cooley has been and will continue to project manage this piece of work with a lot of input from a small group of people but now it is up to the whole club to get involved and contribute.

The RFU have been very helpful and sympathetic to our needs to date and we are working with them for a grant of upto £75k for changing room / showers however they have informed us that we need to demonstrate we have full club backing (not just a few busy volunteers) in order for them to invest in us. Now is the ideal time to prove to them that we can come together and deliver.

I hope to see as many of you there on Wednesday as can manage it but if you can't make it and want to get involved speak to myself and we can discuss ways we need help and what you can offer.

This could be the start of something big for the club and its future but only if people are prepared to help in ways they have not before and I for one am very excited about that prospect.
