Yes Claire who broke her leg at the end of last season playing for Birkenhead Panthers is in training for next years London Marathon.
Claire who provides the food on Saturdays at the Club, coaches the Oldershaw DIamononds Ladies team, works full time, drives her eldest daughter around the UK to various swimming meetings and is a wife to 1st XV coach Mark Sopp is delighted to be in the Marathon.
She has been accepted with her sister to run for local Charity Claire House, the Childrens Hospice in Clatterbridge and is absolutely delighted.
She is currently up to 5 kms or 3 miles in old money so has plenty of running ahead of her!
