A past player, Ty Shaw played for many years with distinction as well as running the bar and external functions at our old clubhouse on the Lower Bristol Road and without the huge contribution that Ty made over many, many years we would not be in the position we are today. A true Unsung Hero and a recipient of the Clubman of the Year Award, on two occasions.

Now an avid supporter and regular in the clubhouse Martyn “Nelly” Gould, who is also a past player, ran out for the club alongside his brothers and was renowned for never taking a backward step. In recent years Nelly has helped out with closed season working parties, helping to organize skips and muck in and is one of the club’s longer standing Vice Presidents.

As Vice Presidents both Ty and Nelly will be entered into the draws for a pair of FREE International tickets to see either England vs Wales on 10 February 2018 or England vs Ireland on 17 March 2018, receive a Membership Club Card for the 2017/18 season, which offers discounted bar prices in the Clubhouse; appear on the Oldfield Website VP’s/Sponsors page and will also be invited to our annual President’s Day, which is hosted by Oldfield President Mark Butt and his wife Laraine and will now take place on 14th April 2018, when Oldfield’s 1st XV entertain Yatton.
