First up we hear from 1st XV captain, Frazer Barnes. Having joined the club a few years ago Frazer has rapidly progressed through the ranks, becoming and integral part of the 1st XV. Taking up the captaincy role last season he continues the role this year and no doubt has high hopes for the upcoming season. We grabbed a minute of his time....

Favourite rugby moment
- Winning the United Hospitals Cup and earning some United Hospitals caps games against the RAF and Cambridge Uni from a playing perspective, and obviously 2003 World Cup from an England perspective

- Bish/Jig, I want to know what it feels like to be fast and score tries
Person you would least like to be at Old Gs and why
- Loz - God only knows what he gets up to in his own time
Best player you have played with…
- A lad called Duncan at Guys (sorry Coombs), year before playing with us he was at bath academy/Bath 2nd XV and playing for England students. Could kick 3 points from anywhere.
Professional rugby player you would compare yourself to
- Bakkies Botha, hard but fair -most of the time (Editor - Ok Fraz...)
If you were not a rugby player what would you be?
- A very bored and aggressive person

- Born and bred swanscomber so I can break into any car within 5 seconds

- Tom Hardy

- Loz - he understands and laughs at my intelligent jokes, and has his own
- Irish - he is probably good at growing a certain plant high in starch that we could eat
