Match Preview

Old Gs travel to London with renewed confidence following some excellent spells of rugby in their last fixture vs Beccs. They face a Southwark side who sit in mid table in Kent 1 and will no doubt provide a tough test as the Old Boys go in search on that so far elusive victory.

In terms of selection there are a few changes across the squad. Andy Connell and Andy Kidd start in the front row where they accompany Brett Buckingham. The reliable 2nd row partnership of Frazer Barnes and Andy Morris remains intact as does the back row of Ollie Goodchild, Chris Daniels and Jack Nash. Tristan Watson makes his return from injury at 9 with Matt Holdstock retaining the 10 shirt. There is the welcome return of Greg Humphreys in the centre where he joins the experienced Michael Hodge. An exciting back 3 is formed of Mat Wilson, Mark Bishop and full back Richard Parish. The bench consists of Ed Wright, Ricky Harding and Steve Thompson.
