Old Grovians have to contend with a host of injuries and absentees for Saturday's trip to South Yorkshire. A squad cursed by injuries this season shows no sign of relenting with Joe Mcgechan forced to miss out just a week after making an impressive debut against Old Modernians.
It means old Grovians have had to call up veteran John Hinchliffe out of retirement and are delighted to have Lacey backs, Joe Harrison and Dean Hogg available once again after 2 months away.
Rotherham Phoenix head into today's clash sitting 6th in the table but having won just one of their last 4 league games. Phoenix were 20-13 winners in the game at Elm Tree Farm earlier this season. Victory would give both sides a huge lift heading into the winter break.
Squad to face Rotherham Phoenix:
Forwards:
Blackhall
Gullick
Roberts
Currie
Robinson
Ayre
Guthrie
Backs:
Hinchliffe
Brown
Weaving
Magee
Yates
Hendricks
Harrison
Hogg
Griffin
Szymanski
Kick off is at 2.15pm
