Over the past couple of weeks the Rugby4Heroes team have been delivering the 2014 festival donations & nominated for two 2014 Pride of Warwick awards

The first was Presented to General Sir Mike Jackson on behalf of ABF Soldiers Charity for £3300 made at the Beating the Retreat Ceremony in London

Last night (27th June 2014) we were delighted to present the second of our 2014 Festival donation cheques totalling £3,530 to 353, a local Armed Forces support charity founded in memory of Private Conrad Lewis, sadly lost in Afghanistan on 9th February 2011.

The total was made up of £3,080 from our Festival profits and an outstanding donation given by Katie Barnes, proprietor of Simply Nails Ltd. (http://www.simplynailsandbeauty.com) who raised £450 through her SimplyNails4Heroes stall at Rugby4Heroes!

Here you can see Conrad’s Mum and Dad Tony and Sandi receiving their donation cheques from Katie and the Chairman of Old Leamingtonians RFC, Charles A. Sabin Esq.

Royal British Legion and Forces Support donations up next!

Thanks to all the Old Leamingtonians RFC team who turned up to support the donation, you are the best! Thats why we have been
nominated for two 2014 Pride of Warwick District Awards!
