Rugby is back!
Old Leamingtonians is proud to have one of the countries (yes countries) strongest M&J section, supported by an army of volunteers.
I’d like to wish everyone a very warm welcome to this new season at Old Leamingtonians, we are very fortunate to have such a large group of players, parents and volunteers who form this section, thank you for your continued support, without you we could not be such a successful club and section.
I would also like to pass on my sincere thanks to all our section
sponsors, particularly a new one for this season “Cassidy Group”

to help promote and recruit young players into “grass routes” rugby, a particular highlight of this package is a financial incentive for us to recruit new players into the section.
During the closed season we have made two important new appointments, please give them a very warm welcome to their new roles.
Gill Blenkinsop has accepted the role of Fixtures Secretary, Gill has a son Alfie in the Under 10s and her husband Nigel is an Under 10s coach, please welcome Gill to this really important role for our section.
Andy Fox has accepted the role of Player Recruitment Leader, Andy coaches the Under 6s and has a son Isaac in Under 6s, and Henry playing in Under 10s. Andy has already done a great job creating a new recruitment poster and a website (http://join-oldleamkids.today) to help us recruit new players across the whole section.
Finally I would like to wish everyone a very successful new season that is already packed with fixtures and events.
33 Wasps vs Tigers “takeover day” at the Ricoh Arena on 16th September, big opportunity to get involved in all match day activities on the pitch.
33 RFU “Inner Warrior” Camp on 16th September for development of Girls Rugby, building on the success of the newly formed girls team led by Naomi Draper.
33 Warwickshire Junior Cup for our Under 14s and 16s on 23rd, 30th September and 18th November. 33 Mini’s Festival on 7th October with over 30 teams attending.
33 Land Rover Cup hosted at Old Leamingtonians on 21st October for Under 11s and Under 12s. Lucas Wager
