Old Leamingtonians is one of the few clubs that makes special provision for U6 players, both boys and girls. We have experienced and well trained coaches, with the specific knowledge relevant to this age group.
We structure our U6 training to be about having lots of fun and introducing the children to the basics of throwing and catching, while also teaching them about being part of a team. Our track record in building long lasting friendships amongst both children and parents, is evidenced by the level of success we enjoy as a rugby club at the heart of our community.
All parents and players are welcome and if you would like to know more please feel free to contact either Henry Rivera (email Henry) or Liz Wilding (email Liz), who will be delighted to answer any questions. Alternatively you can just turn up on the 3rd September 2017, at 10:30, at the Crofts (see map).
Note: Age Grades are established at the start of a season as set by the RFU. The cut-off point is midnight on 31 August, so, a 5 year old on 1st September (the start of the season) is an U6; the child will have their 7th birthday during that season. If your child is older, please note that OLs provides opportunities for every age and gender, so please enquire and we can ensure you are pointed in the right direction.
