Pre-season been pretty special this year with the launch of RFU’s campaign #RugbyWomen and not forgetting England women winning the world cup, Ols have seen a massive increase in women wanting to take up the sport.

With an increase of players we have also increase our coaching team and welcomed ex royal marine commando “Luke Johnson” as Strength & Conditioning coach to the Ols family.

Luke’s already started getting the team into shape with rugby style British military fitness.
Luke said “it’s been great fun working with ols ladies, I’ve been really impressed by the teams work rate, motivated and commitment.
We are really looking forward to the start of the season and being the fittest!!”

Ols have also been active with organising pitch up and plays with the RFU their first one was held last month, and was such a massive hit with new players and players returning to the sport, we are planning our next with the RFU – so watch this place!!

Old Leamingtonians are constantly looking to attract new and experienced players to keep the team moving forward, we are a fun, social, committed rugby team, who are proud to be the only “established” ladies team across Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford, Coventry & surrounding areas playing in a league. If you are interested in playing, we welcome new players of any ability; don't worry if you have never played before
