2012 Tour To Dartmouth
It's finally here! The Old Mids 2012 tour is to Dartmouth!
Initial plans are in place for the Old Mids 2012 rugby tour and the lucky town this year is Dartmouth; Dartmouth is a town in Devon set on the banks of the estuary of the River Dart. It lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has a population of 5512 including our own Nick "Shills" Shillabeer (former player for you youngsters).
Shills captains the local rugby team, Dartmouth RFC, and has kindly arranged a game for us as part of the tour. Here are some more (provisional) details so can you take a look and let Mark Macaskill know if you are either -
a) definitely interested
b) definitely not interested
c) need to think about it but will let you know soon (translated as you need to ask the missus!)
Destination - Dartmouth, Devon
Departure Date - Friday 20th April 2012, time TBC
Return Date - Sunday 22nd April 2012, time TBC
Game - Saturday 21st April, KO tbc
Cost - approx £180-£200 pp to cover transport and accommodation.
The idea is to hire a 16-23 seater mini-bus so this will cover the hire cost and petrol. This cost is subject to having a full mini-bus.
Beer vouchers, big mac vouchers and bail money are of course additional.
Stash - We will organise tour stash (circa £50) so will get an idea of final prices once we know numbers
No mad rush to let me know but I would like to have an idea of numbers by the end of the month, please note that I will need the money up front before booking anything so bear that in mind.
