ON's v Kettering

The girls played today with great strength against a weaker
opposition, and I'm not going to list all the tries and their scorers.

The positives were that we have a group of girls who can work
together, and support each other. We know we have a very physically
strong team, and can back that up with a pleasing level of skill and
open rugby in attack, and in defence can turn over ball, tackle and
cover tackle to ensure we keep a clean sheet.
With some girls away, and only playing 8 a side the girls were all
very adaptable, both in position and game management.

The only thing to take the shine off the performance was the injury to
Katie, who we hope is fighting fit again very soon.

It is a constant pleasure to be working with these young ladies, I'll
say it again, their attitude on the pitch is beyond their years, there
was the opportunity to get silly, not focus, and disrespect the
opposition, but they played their own game right to the final whistle.
Very impressive stuff.
