Cleve 15 Old Reds 10

Reds unbeaten start to the season came to an end today in a hard fought match away at Cleve.

The home side took the lead half way through the first half but Reds replied with a try of their own just before half time when Martin Pirrett crossed the line after a powerful run.

Scores remained level at half time.

Reds were frustrated following the break when a number of decisions didn't go their way. This led to Cleve scoring two more tries.

Reds did manage to have the final say of the match with a well taken try from Reece Carter who received the ball and ran past the whole Cleve team, down the touchline, to score in the corner.

Reds scrum did well again today with Harry Moody winning a number of strikes against the head (when the ball was eventually put in straight!)

No conversions were taken.
