A Weekend for Old Woodstock Town to forget on the field of play.
Division One West Cirencester Town Dev 4 v 2 Old Woodstock Town
This game was as good as over within the first seven minutes with Cirencester taking a two nil lead. Old Woodstock Town gave their worst performance of the season, but were given a lifeline when awarded a penalty and leading scorer D Bone made the score at half time 2-1.
Half Time 2 – 1
The second half was no better for Old Woodstock Town when Cirecester Town made it 3-1.Old Woodstock were awarded a second penalty and D Bone took it again with the same result. That was as close as Old Woodstock Town got to getting anything from the game. The final nail in the coffin for Old Woodstock was when sub Ali Robinson got sent off. Cirencester took advantage of this and made the final score 4 – 2.Old Woodstock could not wait for the final whistle to end the team’s worst result of the season.
