Derby delight in our latest look back at previous victories

Saturday 15th January 2011

The 2010-2011 season proved to be a difficult one for the club as we dropped to the bottom half of the Central Midlands North Division after two, successive top four finishes.
2010 ended all the way back in late November with a heavy defeat to Kinsley Boys but 53 days later, we managed to bounce back away at Calverton Miners Welfare with a 2-1 win. Lewis Croucher and Liam Mason finding the back of the net.

Saturday 16th January 2016

Our first game of 2016 saw us get back to winning ways after cup disappointment in late 2015. We welcomed Phoenix FC to The Lane to make it five successive league victories which would help us seal promotion to the Northern Counties East League at the end of the season. Tom Cooke put Ollerton ahead just before half time whilst "The Two Kyle's", Clarkson and Ludlow, got the others to give us a 3-1 win.

Wednesday 18th January 2012

For the third time in our last four games, we hit our opponents for six as we emphatically dispatched of local rivals Clipstone in the Floodlit Cup back in 2012.
Prolific forward Dean Hankey got a brace whilst Dean Rick, Nathan Brown and Sean Fulcher also got on the scoresheet. A Clipstone own goal completed the scoring.
Having taken over in the October of 2011 after a disastrous start to the season under the previous management, Dave Winter and assistant Stephen Bodle continued to breathe new life into the club.

Saturday 18th January 2014

There was more derby delight in 2014 as we welcomed AFC Mansfield to The Lane. We had lost all of our previous four meetings with the eventual champions, losing heavily the last two times, but on home soil we managed to record a fantastic victory with a Jamie Senior brace putting us 2-0 up before a late Dean Rick penalty gave the visitors a consolation.

Saturday 19th January 2008

A big part of our successful 2007-2008 was our run of 13 successive victories in all competitions that stretched from November to February. The 11th of those victories came away to Louth Town, an infamously tough place to go. Liam Mason got amongst the goals once again whilst striker Lee Willson scored a terrific brace to help us on our way.

Saturday 20th January 2007

The club was going through a tough run during the early parts of 2007, suffering a run of seven games without a win. Thankfully we managed to put an end to that run at home to Sandiacre Town, winning 4-1 with both Dean Hankey and Sam West scoring a brace.
