OPM picked up their first points in 4 games with a home draw against Ashmoor. The home side led 2-0 following 2 short corner routines, courtesy of James Frost and Alex Peacock. Ashmoor pulled one back before half time with a great break and wonder strike. Despite Ashmoor being the more dominant side in the first half, OPM's discipline and control had earned them a hard fought half time lead.

This discipline wained somewhat in the second half, with OPM's receiving 3 yellow cards. When an Ashmoor striker was one on one with the keeper, skipper Chris Frude could only let him shoot or give away a penalty stroke, deciding on the latter. Tim Chalmers saved the resulting penalty stroke, but he was deemed to have moved off the line and Ashmoor scored the retaken flick to level the match.

The last 10 minutes opened up as both sides looked to grab the winner, with Ashmoor continuing to dominate but OPMs having regained their discipline (not to mention all 11 players on the pitch). MoM Stuart Bennett was unlucky with an effort that was brilliantly saved from the Ashmoor keeper, but the visitors had their own chances too.

Disappointing to squander a 2-0 lead and much still to improve, not least ball speed and passing accuracy.
