The lonely hearts club was in fine form last night, Pat making a spectacular effort at dissolving his bat and almost giving JJ brain damage. My new bat stood the stern opening test, and I can say that the edges are now officially knocked in! Sad to say on my return home my loving wife surprised me with a trip away for the weekend, so I won't be able to attend the social gathering this Friday, somebody put a ticket in the hat for me I'm going for the Gammon two weeks in a row. |
