The Festival takes place over the whole of the May Bank Holiday weekend with lots of entertainment on offer but this is the big one: the (in)famous Beer Festival tournament. This is a 15-a-side tournament aimed at a reasonably social but competitive standard - the main purpose of which is to work up an appetite for the selection of ales & ciders on offer in the bar!
