Orpington RFC are delighted to confirm the appointment of Matt Jones as Head Coach for the upcoming season. Matt has previously captained Orpington and more recently has been enjoying great success coaching with Old Elthamians, including coaching the 3rd XV of the rapidly-growing National League club to a dominant league title last season. Matt brings a combination of this experience and his undoubted passion for the club and is looking forward "to getting Orpington back to where it should be as a club..."

Following last year's difficult decision to withdraw from Kent 2, the club has been actively recruiting players and are also delighted to confirm that they will be returning to Kent 2 once again this year. With that in mind, pre-season training will begin on Tuesday 7th July and continue every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm.
