Orpington Select XV 44 - 5 Railway Barbarians
Orpington welcomed the Railway Barbarians to Hoblingwell for a floodlit extravaganza of running rugby, absorbing a lot of early pressure from the visitors before eventually pulling away to record a comfortable 44-5 victory. A good mix of 1st and 2nd XV players lifted the spirits of the decent home crowd with a number of eye-catching performances, including first tries for the club for the impressive Mark Booth and Trevor Day.
