Following a 2-0 win at home to Ackworth Juniors, Albion Eagles played the reverse fixture away at Ackworth. Unlike the previous week, the coaches asked for the Eagles to reproduce their passing style which has proved so productive in the early part of the season. The Eagles went 1-0 up thanks to Mitchell Picksley, but was brought back to earth with the first goal the Eagles have conceded all season. Thanks to some great goalkeeping by Lewis Hannah
the score remained level. Ackworths goal was down to sloppy defending from the whole team. This proved to be the wake up call that they needed. The whole team began to pass the ball and man of the match Mitchell Picksley tore the defence apart at will finishing the game with 5 goals. Charlie Kendall
also chipped in with a brace, one of which was a fantastic headed goal. Jack Wilson was unlucky not to get on the score sheet especially with a volley that produced a fantastic save from the Ackworth goalkeeper. Well done to the Eagles.
