Albion made it back to back wins for the first time this season with a strong defensive performance against Queensbury Celtic. Holly Beaumont played in goal for her first league appearance this season and never looked like conceding especially with the defending of Izzy Lindley, Maisie Clay, Elly McClelland and Madison Ramsden in front of her. Ossett played into the wind in the first half and coped well with the conditions carving out a number of chances. Charlotte Lindley was the stand out player of the first half working tirelessly for the first fifteen minutes to win the ball back and set up attacks. Ossett chances came thick and fast before half time with Emily Burton hitting both posts within seconds and Francesca Wainwright shooting just wide. Depite their possession and chances though the score remained nil nil at half time. Ossett came out still looking purposeful and within minutes Maddy fired them in front from a narrow angle after a corner. Other chances came Ossetts way but the score remained the same despite the hard work of Hannah North and Emily Burton. In the end though it was the tough tackling of Maisie Clay and Izzy Lindley that protected the one nil lead. Following a fantastic first half display the star player was Charlotte Lindley.
