Ossett Albion Juniors has entered in to a “Host Club” agreement with the County FA and the FA Tesco Skills Team which will see coaching seminars and events being held at Albion and across the junior club age groups on a regular basis.
This is a joint initiative working in conjunction with the FA and Ossett Town Juniors, that will mean together we will deliver the highest standard of coaching for children in the local community.
The first event scheduled is the “Easter Holiday Football Course” for 5-11 year olds, which takes place on the 22nd/23rd April. The venue is Ingfield Football Ground, Ossett the home of Ossett Town, and runs from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
Places are restricted and these type of courses are always very popular, so please book early to avoid disappointment. I have attached all the necessary forms and details for you to print off and fill out as necessary (the Albion logo is incorrect on the form and the FA Tesco Skills Team will use our current logo on future correspondence).
“The FA Tesco Skills is based on a unique FA coaching model that helps children of all abilities to grow, develop their skills and to reach their potential. The FA four corner model encompasses four key attributes that are vital for any developing young footballer: Physical, Technical, Psychological and Social elements, helping children to develop more than just their football skills – we’ll help them to gain confidence, build self-esteem, learn to work as team and improve their decision making”
Look out for the launch of the “FA Joint Host Club agreement” at the Easter Ossett Town v Ossett Albion Derby!!
Other events will be advertised in due course, and the appropriate age group Coaches will be kept informed of all new developments.
Many thanks,
Dave Lee
Club Development Officer
