The First team lost 0 - 3 at home to Hyde United.

Hyde started the better of the two sides and put pressure on the home defence from early on. Albion found it difficult to create any chances apart from set pieces and even then they didn't test Russ Saunders in the Hyde goal.

Hyde got the break-through in the 25th minute when their attacker beat Ross Hardaker in the corner and cut inside to cross low for Omry Perel to put the ball into the net. Albion did manage to keep the score at 0-1 until the interval.

Any plans Albion had for recovery went out of the window within a minute of the restart when a shot from Leon Osborne beat Brett Souter in the Albion goal but hit the post. The rebound went straight back to Osborne who tapped it home to double Hyde's lead.

Albion made substitutions without effect and a minute from the end, Peter Boyle made it 3 for the visitors when a long ball forward found him and he slotted it home.
Hyde could have added 2 more before the final whistle but Albion were saved this on an afternoon to forget.
