Among the aims for a new era at Ossett Cricket, is a boost to the social events side of life, with hopefully the first of many starting in March 2012.
With this objective in mind, the club will be holding a "Sports Dinner" at the Cinnamon Lounge, 97, Bridge Road, Horbury Bridge on Monday the 12th of March 2012.
Spouses, partners, friends and family are all cordially invited to come along,to what will be an Asian buffet style dinner, with a chance to quiz cricketing celebrities Richard Pyrah, Kevin Sharp and John Sadler in a question and answer session. Tony Ogden, a former Ossett Chairman, will be opening up proceedings and assisting Dave Callaghan - well known sporting broadcaster from BBC Radio Leeds - your Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
Tickets will be £25 per head and there will be discounts for group bookings . This is an event for everyone; seniors, juniors, parents, friends, family etc. The more the merrier. We would like to encourage as many of the juniors as possible, juniors price is discounted to make it cheaper if they are bringing a family along.

Harry many apologies for late reply. I was really busy, in the early part of this week as away for my son's 36th birthday over the weekend. However, I see that Mike Edwards has replied in detail to your enquiry on behalf of the club. Look forward to seeing you at the event with family and friends.

Thanks very much for responding to Harry with all the details, I think it may be a good idea to add your information to the event notice if you don't mind me quoting you verbatim.
