Ossett Town Chairman, in the hot seat since 2013, this morning had reflected on what was the biggest game in recent history for Ossett Town.

“I am really very proud of what the team has achieved this season, the performance on the pitch last night was simply outstanding”.

A Jason Yates double and left back Ashley Jackson but the icing on the cake as Ossett Town took victory, the first time Ossett Town have won away to Scarborough Athletic.
Rogers continued “The whole team effort from the players, management, fans, committee and family members really stood out. Everyone played their part on a great and memorable night for Ossett Town”.

This season has already made memories that few thought were possible and with just one more game to go James Rogers has already turned his thoughts to that game “this coming Saturday as we travel to Farsley Celtic, we need to approach it just like we did last night’s game. Focus on what we do best and plan to go to Farsley and cause another upset”

“Finally it has been a fantastic year for the club, I would like to personally thank everyone involved for making it such a memorable season”.

Ossett Town travel to Farsley Celtic on Saturday 29 April for the Evo-Stik First Division North Play-Off Final. Kick-off will be 3pm.
