“The current run in this competition is a personal highlight for me, and to say it is over ten years since Ossett Town reached this stage shows how big it is. The penalty shootout in the last round was great to be involved in, scoring twice in the first game was great, but there is no better feeling than scoring a penalty in a shootout and then winning”.
Leigh Overton, with three clean sheets and just three goals conceded in five FA Cup games so far this season says this is his best run in the FA Cup. “I have never reached the first round, it would be great to get that far at least. But to do that we know it will be a tough game, however, we go in as underdogs which is a tag that has suited us well in recent times”.
“We know if we are on top of our game anything can happen in one off games. No one expects us to get a result so the pressure is off. I personally cannot wait for the test against a National league side”.
