Grant Black takes the Ingfielders to NCEL side Rossington Main this evening and will be without Andy Hawksworth (knee), Curtley Martin-Wyatt (knee) and Isaac Assenso (hamstring) who are all expected to be unavailable for the next two weeks.

Black is looking forward to the second game in three days “I’m keen to see us continue working on things towards the first league game on 12 August and to see players pushing themselves to show they are good enough and fit enough to start the season.”

“We are right into it now and I am starting to look at a team that will start at Prescot Cables, the squad is taking shape and could have three new names in it after they have impressed through the summer. Rossington this evening will be a good test, they are another strong side and will test us in different ways to what Bradford Park Avenue did on Tuesday evening.”
