We’d like to congratulate the Kellys Bar pool team who after a rather disjointed season in the Ossett and Horbury Pool League Division 3 won their final game 5-4 in a battle of nerves to take the top spot.

The team has a large contingent of Committee Members involved, Captained by Nick Smith and also featuring our Chairman James Rogers along with Joint Secretaries Oliver Smith and Craig Wolfenden. The rest of the team is Robert Billing Snr, Peter Wolfenden, John Parkinson and Matty Rogers, who potted the vital winning black on the night to give the Kellys Bar team the victory required for the title. Each and every player has throughout the season contributed towards the success though. Presentation night is on Wed April 12th at Kellys Bar.

The team are looking for more players to join them so if anyone is interested please contact Nick Smith at the club. Games are played on a Wednesday night and if enough people come forward we can look to set up a “B” team playing from Kellys.

Well done boys, no open top bus ride of course but congratulations to all involved with the team on their successful season.
