Grant Black and his side will quickly put today’s victory to the back of the mind as the Reds are next in action on Easter Monday, travelling to champions elect Farsley Celtic, for a 3pm kick-off
Ossett Town have ten points from twelve and have climbed from fifth to third in recent weeks whilst Farsley Celtic, winners of the West Riding County Cup last week, have eight points from 12.
The history book would suggest a win for the home side as Town have not won at Throstle Nest since a 5-2 victory in 2002, but records like that have no place in Grant Black’s mind as a number of unwanted records have fallen since he took charge.
Farsley Celtic have a number of former Ossett Town players available to them, including Tom Morgan, Aiden Savory and the leagues top scorer James Walshaw.
A victory for the home side could potentially give them the title if other results go their way whilst Town will look to consolidate a play-off place ahead of the final day encounter against Trafford.
There are seven sides within four points of each other from third to ninth, the final three play-off places are there for any of them.
