Town Sign Mawson From Sheffield

Ossett Town have strengthened the squad further this evening as Jack Mawson becomes the second new signing following Emile Sinclair earlier.

Grant Black is delighted to get Mawson who he describes as a strong forward who will suit the clubs style of play.

Black has been watching the striker since he played for Sheffield FC against Town in the Emirates FA Cup earlier this season.

Mawson was keen to sign once he knew of Blacks interest saying “Ossett Town have a great reputation and the good set of lads. Following on from last season it is a team that is hard to beat”.

“I believe the squad is good enough to go up this season, more than capable. It’s an exciting time to be here, the support is great. I can’t wait to play in front of them”.

Both Mawson and Sinclair are available to Black for the game with Bamber Bridge tomorrow.
