Since our clubhouse was launched as Kelly’s Sports Bar Ossett Brewery’s hand pulled ale, Yorkshire Blonde, has been a popular choice amongst customers. On occasions the brewery have supplied a guest beer, the recently successful Kelly’s hero’s been one.

With Darlington 1883 visiting Ingfield on Saturday 27 September the brewery have made a number of ales available to us – so now we pass the choice on to you, Ossett Town and Darlington 1883 supporters.

GREEN DREAM NEW 4.5% ABV A unique beer brewed with fresh green Yorkshire hops harvested the day before brewing. This is a refreshing golden ale.

SILVER KING 4.3%ABV Our palest permanently available brew, and consistently popular for fifteen years, Silver King is perhaps Ossett’s best known beer and the winner of many prestigious awards. A simple combination of lager malt and American Cascade hops result in a crisp, dry, refreshing bitter in which the aromas of citrus fruit are pleasingly well balanced.

EXCELSIOR 5.2%ABV Despite its formidable strength, Excelsior is many people’s favourite tipple. A classic pale ale, brewed from British pale malt and American Cascade hops this is the perfect drinking experience! Smooth, fruity and full-bodied, but with a deceptive bitterness to complement the high alcohol content this is a deliciously easy-drinking beer. Refreshing citrus hop aromas complete the sensory pleasure.
